19 weeks!

Mini G's size: At 19 weeks, Jack should be 8.5oz and 6 inches from head to rump. Baby Center says, "the size of a large heirloom tomato." However, at our 18w1d appointment, Jack was measuring 19w1d and his stomach was measuring 20w. They predicted that he weighed about 10oz based on that ultrasound (a week ago!). I think I'm going to have a chunky baby on my hands! :)

Weight gain: Still only running about 5-6 pounds at this point. I know I'll start packing it on the last half of the pregnancy.

Best moment this week: Nothing too exciting this weekend. I have felt a lot of movement and I'm ready for bigger movement. Remind me that I said this when I complain of him kicking me in the ribs. ;)

Food cravings: I really haven't had any cravings. I've been wanting something salty the past few days but have fought against it in hopes of sticking to my healthy eating plan.

Symptoms: Round ligament pain; I've had a lot of stretching and poking on my left side. Minimal heartburn and still pretty tired. Because Jack is balled up in the bottom of my uterus he keeps kicking my bladder which has caused me to run to the bathroom every 10-15 minutes.

Looking forward to: More movement and my next ultrasound to see our sweet boys growth. I am going to be monitored for one particular reason with Maternal Fetal Medicine so in order to stay positive I am reminding myself that I'm just glad I'll get to see my baby's growth every 4 weeks. :)

Here's proof that the bloat is gone and I'm gaining weight. Nevermind the fact that I've worked with almost 30 preschoolers today and look like a hot/exhausted mess.

Love,
The Growing Goodins!
